Help & answers
How can we help?
Clear answers for choosing and using broadband in Bangladesh.
How do I choose an ISP for my area?
Start with Find ISPs or Find My ISP, choose your city, and compare listed providers. Read recent reviews from people near you and ask the ISP to confirm service at your exact address. Listed nationwide coverage does not guarantee installation at every building.
Are package prices and coverage guaranteed?
Package listings help you shortlist options. Confirm the current monthly price, applicable taxes, installation charges, equipment costs, contract terms, and address coverage directly with the provider before paying. A plan or promotion may have changed since it was listed.
How do I write a useful ISP review?
Sign in, open the ISP profile, and choose Write Review. Describe your own experience, the package, the area, and the period you used the service. Explain speed and support separately. Reviews go through moderation before publication. Never include passwords, private customer details, or someone else’s phone number.
What does a rating tell me?
Ratings summarise the approved reviews available on this platform. Check the review count and dates: a high score from one person provides less evidence than a consistent pattern across recent reviews. Performance can vary by neighbourhood and package.
How can I get a more reliable speed test?
Use Ethernet when possible, pause streaming and downloads on other devices, and test without a VPN unless you want to measure the VPN connection. Repeat at different times of day using the same device and test destination. A result measures that connection path at that moment, not every website.
Why is my download shown in MB/s instead of Mbps?
Mbps means megabits per second; MB/s means megabytes per second. Eight bits make one byte, so 100 Mbps is about 12.5 MB/s before protocol overhead. Check the unit before comparing your download application with the advertised plan speed.
Do I need an account to browse the website?
You can browse providers, packages, guides, and public reviews without signing in. An account is needed to publish reviews and forum posts and to use personal account features. Use the Sign Up page to register.
Where can I manage my account and activity?
Sign in and open My Account to manage your profile, preferences, reviews, and community activity. For an account or privacy request you cannot complete there, use the Contact page with the email address associated with your account. Never send your password.
How can a provider add or correct a listing?
Use Register Your ISP to request a listing, or contact the site team about an existing record. Provide the business name, website, service areas, and public support contact. Provider accounts can manage their listing after the site team verifies access.
Who should I contact about an internet outage?
Contact your ISP first with the time the problem began, affected devices, and router or ONU warning lights. ISP Review BD is an independent information platform and cannot repair an ISP line. You can discuss an outage in the community forum without publishing private account details.
