1. Go to "Best in My Area" from the ISPs menu
2. Enter your location or allow location access
3. View ISPs sorted by proximity and rating
4. Filter by coverage type, speed, and price

Our speed test uses several techniques for reliable results:

• Multi-threaded testing: Uses parallel connections to prevent ISP-level traffic shaping from inflating results
• Anti-cache technology: Randomized payloads ensure you are measuring real throughput, not cached data
• Multiple servers: Tests against servers in the region to reflect typical browsing conditions in Bangladesh
• Regional routing: Measures latency to India and Singapore hops, which is where most Bangladesh traffic routes through

For the most accurate result, use an ethernet cable (not WiFi), close other tabs and downloads, and test at different times of day. Peak hours (8-11 PM BST) often show lower speeds.

Download Speed (Mbps): How fast you receive data. Most Bangladesh fiber plans advertise 20-100 Mbps. If your 50 Mbps plan tests at 35-45 Mbps, that is within a normal range.

Upload Speed (Mbps): How fast you send data. Important for video calls and uploading files. Typically lower than download on most Bangladesh ISP plans.

Ping (ms): Response time to the server. Under 30ms is good for local servers; 50-100ms to Singapore is normal for Bangladesh connections. Matters most for gaming and video calls.

Jitter (ms): How much the ping fluctuates. High jitter (over 20ms) causes choppy video calls and lag spikes in games.

Packet Loss (%): Percentage of data lost in transit. Should be near 0%. Anything above 1% usually means a network problem at your ISP or local exchange.

This is common in Bangladesh. Several factors cause it:

• WiFi vs Ethernet: WiFi on a typical TP-Link router can cut your speed by 30-50%, especially through walls
• Peak hour congestion: Most Bangladesh ISPs see heavy load between 8-11 PM when everyone streams content
• Shared bandwidth: Some local ISPs oversubscribe their connections at the NTTN level
• Old router: If your ISP-provided router is a few years old, it may not support your plan's full speed
• International routing: Speeds to international servers (YouTube, Netflix) depend on your ISP's international bandwidth, not just your local plan
• Background usage: Other devices on your network downloading or streaming will reduce available bandwidth

Test at off-peak hours (morning or early afternoon) via ethernet to see your connection's actual capacity. If speeds are consistently 50% or less of your plan, contact your ISP.

To write a review:

1. Log in to your account
2. Find the ISP you want to review
3. Click "Write Review" button
4. Run a speed test (optional but recommended)
5. Rate speed and customer experience
6. Write your detailed review
7. Submit for approval

A useful review helps other subscribers know what to expect. Include:

• Your package: Name, advertised speed, and monthly cost in BDT
• Actual speeds: What you get vs. what you pay for, especially during peak hours
• Customer service: How long it takes to resolve outages or billing issues
• Your area: Mention your district or neighborhood -- ISP quality varies widely by location
• How long you have been a subscriber: A review after 6 months is more useful than one after 2 days
• Both positives and negatives: No ISP is perfect. Mention what works well and what does not.

Reviews are typically approved within 24-48 hours. We review each submission to ensure:

• Authenticity and legitimacy
• Compliance with community guidelines
• No spam or promotional content
• Appropriate language

You'll receive a notification once your review is approved or if any changes are needed.
